PLUG & PERFORATING
Plug-and-perf includes pumping down a bridge plug on wireline with perforating guns to a given horizontal location near the toe of the well. The plug is set, and the zone is perforated.
PIPE RECOVERY
Pipe recovery is a specific wireline operation used in the oil and gas industry, when the drill string becomes stuck downhole. Stuck pipe prevents the drill rig from continuing operations.
CHEMICAL CUTS
A downhole tool run on wireline to sever tubing at a predetermined point when the tubing string becomes stuck. When activated, the chemical cutter use a small explosive charge to forcefully direct high-pressure jets of highly corrosive material in a circumferential pattern against the tubular wall. The nearly instantaneous massive corrosion of the surrounding tubing wall creates a relatively even cut with minimal distortion of the tubing, aiding subsequent fishing operations.
JET CUTS
Safely remove well heads after plug and abandonment, cutting from inside out to safely remove well heads without flame or workers around well head.
FREE POINTS
A wireline tool used to determine the free point on a stuck string.
TUBING PUNCHES
A special perforating gun, or charge, that is designed for limited penetration to allow an inner tubing or casing string to be perforated without damaging a surrounding outer string.
PACKER SETTING SERVICE
It is usually run in close to the bottom end of the production tubing and set at a point above the top perforations or sand screens. In wells with multiple reservoir zones, packers are used to isolate the perforations for each zone. In these situations, a sliding sleeve would be used to select which zone to produce.
WELL TEMPERATURE & PRESSURE MONITORING TOOLS
Pressure transducers have a sensing element of constant area and respond to force applied to this area by fluid pressure. The force applied will deflect the diaphragm inside the pressure transducer. The deflection of the internal diaphragm is measured and converted into an electrical output.
CEMENT BOND LOGS
A cement bond log documents the evaluation of the integrity of cement work performed on an oil well.
PROBE RAD2 CBL TOOLS
CEMENT BOND LOG INTERPRETATION. The Cement Bond Log (CBL) gives a continous measurement of the amplitude of sound pulses from a transmitter to receiver. This amplitude is maximum in unsupported pipe and minimum in well-cemented casing.
PROBE RAD2 RADIAL CBL
Radial Bond Tool can improve the speed and clarity of your cement evaluation.
-
Save rig and nonproductive time (NPT) costs by evaluating multiple-sized casing in one pass
-
Run with an optional gamma ray and neutron tool to improve correlations
-
Get reliable measurements in high-pressure/high-temperature (HP/HT) wells with tools rated up to 450oF (232oC)
CALIPER LOGS(40&60 ARM)
The caliper probe, a simple mechanical device, whose main functionality is to measure the internal diameter of a borehole or casing string within a borehole. Another purpose of a caliper arm is to push a section of a probe against the side of the borehole (for example density logging), known as sidewalling.
BRAIDED CABLE FISHING SERVICES
A type of multistrand wireline used for slickline applications in which higher tension or weight-carrying ability is required. Our braided line is 5/16-in size.
PUMP DOWN PERFORATING (UP TO 15K)
Pumpdown perforating is a wireline-conveyed method of completing horizontal wells. Fluid pumped from surface is used to convey a plug and perforating guns to a desired depth, where the plug is set and guns are fired, creating tunnels through the casing and cement and into the formation.
COMPOSITE PLUGS
Composite plugs are plugs that are specially designed and manufactured using composite materials such as thermoplastics, epoxy materials, resins and provides zonal isolation of the wellbore during multistage simulation treatments.
DUMP BAILINGS/PUMP BAILING
A bailing device with a release valve, usually of the disk or flapper type, used to place, or spot material (such as cement slurry) at the bottom of the well.
GAUGE RINGS
A precisely machined test device, typically fabricated from steel or similar durable material, having a specified internal or external diameter. The gauge ring is used to confirm the dimensional compatibility of tools and equipment that must pass through restrictions of a certain diameter.
RIG LOCKS
hydraulically-controlled, remote operation device that can connect the lubricator to the well with the flip of a switch. It allows you to remotely connect and disconnect the wireline lubricator. Hydraulically operated dogs that lock the lubricator in place and a lockdown ring that mechanically holds the dogs in place. The position of the lockdown ring can be seen from anywhere on location. It also uses a built-in funnel to make it very simple for a crane operator to make a connection.
CRANE SERVCES
A crane is a machine that is used to lift and move heavy loads, machines, materials, and goods for a variety of purposes. They are used in all different sectors of industry, from construction to manufacturing to shipbuilding and material loading. Their are many types of crane services i.e. crane rigging, heavy haul, and alternative movement solution
WIRELINE RETRIEVABLE PLUGS
A type of downhole isolation tool that may be unset and retrieved from the wellbore after use, such as may be required following treatment of an isolated zone. A retrievable bridge plug is frequently used in combination with a packer to enable accurate placement and injection of stimulation or treatment fluids
TUBING CONVEYED PERFORATING (TCP)
Abbreviation for tubing-conveyed perforating, the use of tubing, drillpipe or coiled tubing to convey perforating guns to the required depth. Initially, the technique was developed as a means for conveying the gun string on the production tubing, with the guns remaining in the well until they are removed during the first workover. The subsequent popularity of highly deviated and horizontal wells increased the requirement for tubing-conveyed perforating as the only means of gaining access to the perforating depth.
IMPRESSION BLOCKS
A soft lead flat end or cone bottom on a steel tool. The impression block can give ideas on what it is set down upon. Usually run via slickline and set down once to get an imprint. Also derisively called a confusion block.
MAGNETS
magnets with the physical strength to remove broken drilling tools from deep wells and the finesse for use in magnetic flux leakage pipeline inspection systems. A major challenge of the industry is swarf handling - to keep drills, pipelines and other machinery running at the maximum possible efficiency and to increase operational life, ferrous contaminants need to be collected and removed.
This is typically done by ditch magnets or inline magnetic tube separators. .
PRESSURE CONTROL UP TO 7"
Pressure control of oil wells may be defined as the adjustment of pressures within a well to obtain the most efficient and economic utilization of the natural gas energy with a minimum of sand troubles or irregular water encroachment.
STRIP GUNS
An exposed gun system used primarily in wireline operations. This gun system has shaped charges that are housed in individual pressure-tight capsules mounted on a metal strip, which is lowered into the well. Each pressure-tight capsule, along with the entire string, is thus exposed to well fluids.
STRING SHOTS
The string-shot is a metal rod wrapped in explosive primer cord. The back-off procedure applies left-hand torque to the stuck pipe string. The CCL is used to help position the string shot at the predetermined pipe joint, and then the string shot is detonated.
